Why the Indicative Quote (IQ) service sit at port 446 while 443 is a standard port for web service?
Allianz has some technical limitations around having both SOAP and REST services available on port 443. Hence, REST services are available on port 446 and SOAP service on 443.

How to use Distribution Point Identifier (DPI) correctly? Is a default DPI required?
A partner can be assigned a set of DPI codes to be used for identifying where a quote is originally sourced from. An IQ request requires a valid DPI code as a value for field 'placingOfficerCode'. To avoid IQ request failure due to invalid DPI code, partner can configure a default DPI code via Allianz sales system customisation so the default code will be used instead upon an invalid DPI code is detected in the IQ request. Note that empty DPI code is not accepted regardless configured default DPI code.
